Rick Silva grew up in Boston, and holds a BA from Cornell University and a MEd from Curry College. He teaches biology and physical sciences at a charter school in Jersey City. Rick has been involved in the fantasy/SF/gaming scene since around age twelve. He co-published Kinships magazine with Pentegram Komix & Graphix, and now is a partner in Dandelion Studios along with his wife, Gynn Stella. Rick co-writes Zephyr & Reginald: Minions for Hire, as well as several other Dandelion Studios comic strips.

He also publishes a zine called Caravan. Rick writes poetry, and can frequently be found at local workshops and open mics. He remains in touch with the gaming scene as well, and has run events at numerous conventions.
